It is really inspiring when you walk into a store and you are faced with a wall of colour. This simple fresh statement by Hallmark USA has real impact. It is clean and and slightly sophisticated with the darker tones, but never the less does make you feel summery when it's grey outside.]

The Black Keys !

We have been meaning to feature the Black Keys ever since we saw them play a storming set as support to the Kings of Leon.
Their music has a real down and dirty bluesy feel, that sound like it grew up in the swamps of the south. The Keys are just two guys from Ohio, Dan Auerbach on vocals and guitar, and Patrick Carney on drums, and they often add in other musicians to collaborate on some of the tracks. They have released six studio albums as the Black Keys and one of the best is last years Brothers. Here is a video from the album called Tighten Up, which is getting a lot of airplay in the UK :

General Fiasco - Ever So Shy ! 

Don't let the sideburns and the Justin Bieber bangs fool you, this band are right rockers from the Motherland - Northern Ireland. To be more specific they are from Belfast ! Anything Irish we obviously love ! Also check out Sinking Ships, Dancing with Girls, Something Sometime and I'm Not Made Of Eyes !

Geometrics Galore !

Geometrics are a phenomenal source for playing with colour combinations. The application works really well on all areas of product from baby to adult, stationery, and interiors. We particularly love the tribal influence which is currently very topical.
