Sebastian Joe's, 1007 Franklin Avenue South, Minneapolis
While visiting the Patina shop on Franklin Street in Minneapolis on Saturday, it was impossible not to notice the Ice Cream Cafe called Sebastian Joe's a couple of doors down. There were a lot of people sitting outside eating their ice cream and enjoying the afternoon sun, so I joined the small queue and went inside. Sebastian Joe's make the their own ice cream, all from natural ingredients and judging by the number of people there with smiles on their faces, they are doing something right ! I tried the Salty Caramel and it was one of the most delicious ice creams I have tasted, it was one of those flavours that made you wish the ice cream was never going to end. They also source their own organically grown coffee and roast it in the Franklin Street store, but I had a sweet tooth that afternoon so I had their hot chocolate instead. So if you are ever in Minneapolis you should definitley put Sebastian Joe's on your list of places to visit.

Patina, 1009, Franklin Avenue South, Minnepolis
Being in Minneapolis at the weekend it was time to visit Patina again. It's one of those eclectic stores that is packed from floor to ceiling with beautiful inspirational goodies, all mixed together in a melting pot of colour and great design. Your eyes get drawn from one exciting display to the next and it's a place you can easily spend a couple of hours exploring.

Barnes & Noble
Barnes and Noble have some great new notebooks, journals and planners on their shelves at the moment. They have used several exciting prints and really fresh colours, that add a lot of creativity to their new products. Birds are everywhere this year and are constantly being re-invented. Several of their large erasers in particular, portray some cute new owls :
