Midweek Aural Inspiration : Boy and Bear

We were going to post another song by the Lumineers but we will save that for the weekend. Here is yet another new band to us : Boy and Bear, what a great name ! We'll have to get some info on them for the next posting, looks like they are from Sydney, Australia though.

Love this song it's called Milk and Sticks :

So many good bands around at the moment !

Not more from Marks & Spencer !

Here is the second to last posting of new greeting cards in Marks and Spencer, We kept these separate because they are from an older age group, but the creativity, the colours and use of fonts are great :

The main thing that stands out apart from all the great designs, is colour. Colours have to be punchy, bright and bold at the moment, and even where softer tones and pastels have been used there are a couple of strong colours in there to lift everything.

More Aural Inspiration : The Lumineers

Here is another band that are coming up with some great music. They originate from New York and this song Ho Hey, is from their first album just titled The Lumineers :

The guy in the hat sure looks like Woody Harrelson !

New Cards in Marks & Spencers

We haven't looked at the greeting cards in M&S for a while now, so on Saturday we went in to the local store and found quite a lot that caught the eye, many with cute fun designs, and new colours for Autumn. Here is a selection of the juvenile cards we found :

Manic Mondays (Seems like every day is manic lately ! ) : Bronze Radio Return

It's felt like there's not been much new music out there recently, but this weekend three exciting bands turned up in our quest for aural inspiration ! The first one is Bronze Radio Return, an indie rock band from Hartford Connecticut. This track is a great way to start Monday off, it's called Down There :

Love it :) !
