Warning : Do not listen to this track unless you want to walk around singing it all day long !
This is a great song for Valentines Day, we heard it a couple of years ago, and could not stop playing it.
The song manages to be romantic and sad at the same time, and the beautiful video tells the story of One Eskimo and Princess Little Feather :

Colour Fantastic !
When Spring / Summer Stock starts to go on the shop floor, it's a great time to look at colour before it changes or gets sold.
We wanted to start the colour stories with Banana Republic which is currently looking very stylish and fresh.
There are a lot of inky blues, black, grey and various blue / blue denims mixed with sherbet pastels, stone, khaki and soft airforce that neutralize the brights.

Rosa Mexicano
Rosa Mexicano is one of the best Mexican restaurants we have found to eat in Atlanta.
The decor is very contemporary. There is a huge wall of flat panel waterfalls, with ceramic divers in various stages of their descent positioned down the wall. We decided to start with the guacamole, a medium one seeing as we had not eaten there before. A trolley is wheeled up to the table where it is prepared in front of you. Our chef used a large fresh avocado, scooping it out in all size chunks and mixing it up with the other ingredients, like chopped onions, jalapeno pepper and cilantro. He served it to us in the lava rock mortar and pestle he mixed it in, called a molcajete, along with a couple of dips and fresh baked nacho's. We grinned and agreed this was the best guacamole we ever had. The sandwiches we had were also delicious, and both had distinctive flavours we had never experienced before. This is going to be a good place to go back to for dinner one evening ... we can't wait !

Retro Toys
Following the Retro theme, we wanted to feature the wonderfully collectable toys from Dream Pets. Created by R Dakin & Company of San Francisco in 1957, these personality packed little critters are as popular today. You can still find vintage Dakin Dream Pets quite easily on the internet, but our growing collection is the modern set. They can be found at www.cuddlycollectibles.com.

Great Adverts !
With retro imagery everywhere at present, it got us thinking about advertisements. We love adverts that you can sing along to to, or dance to, or just enjoy because they are well thought out. One of our favourite ad's is the Guiness advert : Dancing Man. The melody for starters is catchy, you can't help shaking your shoulders to Perez Prado and "Guaglioni", teamed with simple yet memorable photography, this advert really is a classic !
